FOR CLIENTS IN SEATTLE & SURROUNDING AREAS & WASHINGTON STATE
Sex Therapy Supervision & Consultation
Mentorship for Counselors, Therapists, and Health Professionals
When a client brings up sex, intimacy, or relationship issues in a session, many therapists worry about saying the wrong thing. That is completely normal. I offer direct coaching, sex therapy supervision, and sex therapy consultation so you can feel calm, clear, and confident in those moments.
Whether you need hours for sex therapy certification, feel stuck with a hard case, or just want to talk about sex with your clients without feeling awkward, I adapt my work to fit what you need.
Filling the Gaps from Grad School
Most master's programs in counseling and therapy spend very little time on human sex and relationships. You might get a short lesson on rules or basic body parts, but rarely anything about handling real-life sexual concerns.
Without specific training, it is easy to feel unsure when a client brings up low sex drive, pelvic pain, kink, open relationships, or hard-to-manage sexual habits. If you feel unsure, that uncertainty can affect the session even when you care deeply about your client.
I started Pleasure Matters to offer a private space where you can ask real clinical questions, review tough cases, and build helpful treatment plans for your clients.
Mentorship Options
I offer three ways to work together depending on your goals and budget:
| Option | What We Cover | Hours Earned | Who It Is For |
|---|---|---|---|
|
Individual & Group Sex Therapy Supervision |
Regular case review, professional rules, and building your sex therapy skills. | Counts toward certification requirements. | Therapists building a sex therapy practice. |
| Supervision with a Sex Therapy | Guidance under senior mentor oversight at lower rates. | Counts toward certification requirements. | Newer therapists, agency staff, or |
| Supervisor in Training | therapists on a budget. | ||
| Single-Case Sex Therapy Consultation | Pay-as-you-go help for a specific client question or case. | General learning hours. | Anyone needing quick advice on a single case. |
Option 1: Individual & Group Sex Therapy Supervision
This program is for licensed therapists and counselors who want steady, structured clinical guidance.
We meet regularly to discuss your cases through emotional, physical, and cultural views. We walk through tough boundary questions, personal sharing limits, and how to avoid burnout.
You also get access to my practical client tools worksheets, sample scripts, and home exercises you can use directly in your sessions.
Option 2: Supervision with a Sex Therapy Supervisor in Training
I offer supervision as a sex therapy supervisor in training working under the guidance of a senior supervisor.
This setup gives you two expert views on your work. It also allows me to lower session costs, making supervision easier to afford for newer therapists, non-profit staff, and people building new practices.
Option 3: Single-Case Sex Therapy Consultation
You do not need a long-term contract if you only need help with one client. A single-session sex therapy consultation gives you flexible, targeted guidance when you need it most.
If someone in your care is dealing with pelvic pain, mismatched sex drives, broken trust, or questions about kink, you can book a single consultation session. I will help you choose clear words, suggest helpful client exercises, and decide whether to keep working with them or refer them to someone else.
Our Approach & Core Values
My work is based on bodily freedom, sex-positivity, and gentle care. I do not view common human sexual differences as problems or illnesses.
| Core Focus | What We Do | What It Means for Your Clients |
|---|---|---|
| Sex-Positivity | Helping you talk about sex with the same comfort as any other topic. | Clients talk freely without fear of judgment. |
| LGBTQIA+ Care | Clear, welcoming support for all identities and relationship styles. | Clients get knowledgeable care without having to teach their therapist. |
| Kink & Open Relationships | Respectful support for open relationships and kink. | Clients discuss their needs and boundaries without feeling judged. |
| Healing & Body Connection | Focusing on comfortable pacing, body limits, and letting go of guilt. | Clients learn to manage anxiety and tension in gentle steps. |
| Cultural Background | Looking at how culture, race, and background shape intimacy and self-esteem. | Clients feel understood in their real-life experience. |
